Transforming Eastern Uganda Through Education

Eastern Uganda has some of the highest illiteracy and school dropout rates in the country, largely due to poverty and poor parenting. Our community reflects these same challenges—but we believe that quality education is key to transforming lives and communities.

Anchor School was established to provide affordable, Christian-based, quality education to children who would otherwise be left behind. Here, education goes beyond the classroom: children receive meals, are nurtured in a safe and loving environment, and are taught to know and follow Christ.
